A “master” approach to sharpening competitiveness
Data is not merely a collection of basic information; it is a rapidly advancing field of technology. The Novelsoft team works across many areas, from organizing data in traditional tabular formats to developing solutions based on the latest methods such as Graph, Time Series, and JSON; building Big Data clusters; and creating streaming platforms for Machine Learning. Over the years, using these technologies, the company has carried out a wide range of projects in cooperation with public- and private-sector organizations, including building data warehouses, developing reporting dashboards, conducting advanced data analytics such as business risk assessment and correlation analysis, and processing data based on artificial intelligence algorithms.
In software development, beyond writing code in the traditional way, Novelsoft focuses on accelerating system development by adopting methods that have gained strong momentum in recent years, such as Low-code/No-code approaches for assembling systems without writing code, dynamic process automation, and test automation technologies.

Homebook alone is currently used by the new Khurd residential complexes covering 13,000 households, Shine Yarmag residential complex, VIP Residence, and many homeowners’ associations in Erdenet, while DocMine is being successfully used by around 10 public- and private-sector organizations.
In addition, one of Novelsoft’s strengths is that it officially introduces to the domestic market, and provides related services for, products and services from global technology leaders such as Oracle, Salesforce, Tableau, Cloudera (Big Data), Nintex, and SmartBear, helping its customers succeed. Most recently, it is also worth noting that the company has agreed to cooperate with Automation Anywhere, a leading U.S. company in robotic process automation technology, to introduce this technology in Mongolia.
The story behind Novelsoft
The Software Department of IT Zone, one of Mongolia’s leading information technology companies operating since 1997, expanded its operations and spun off in 2019 as Novelsoft in order to work with greater focus. Now in its third year, the company continues to operate successfully. During this period, Novelsoft has worked with major national enterprises such as MCS, Oyu Tolgoi, Khan Bank, Trade and Development Bank, Golomt Bank, Bogd Bank, Gobi LLC, Invescore, Tenger Insurance, and Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar, and has implemented more than 60 projects involving data management and core system development for several major government organizations.
Behind these projects is a strong team of around 50 capable business and systems analysts, software architects, and engineers who graduated from major domestic universities as well as institutions in countries including the United States, Japan, India, Korea, the Netherlands, Australia, and Russia, alongside a professional team of around 30 experienced data engineers and data analysts. In the past five years alone, they have processed and organized five million lines of code and around three billion rows of data, turning them into reporting dashboards.
